100 Black Men of Rome Northwest Georgia, Inc. will award academic scholarships to deserving male or female high school students from the Floyd, Polk, Gordon, Bartow, Paulding and Chattooga counties. Each recipient will receive scholarship which may be renewable each year while attending a college or an university.

DownloadEach applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
The student must be a graduating high school senior (or is a graduate) from the Floyd,
Bartow, Gordon, Polk or Chattooga counties.
The student must have demonstrated leadership ability and community involvement and have participated in a 100 Black Men program.
Two letters of recommendation, one must written by a school representative or a
recommendation from your faculty advisor if already attending college or technical
school.
The student must have at least a 2.5 GPA.
Application Process
The 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia, Inc.’s scholarship committee will meet during the month of May to review all applications and make its recommendations to the full board.
Scholarship recipients will be notified immediately following the action of the education
committee. Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the following organization’s Impact Gala May 17th, 2024.
